Pokémon Monomyth Documentation
Pokémon Monomyth is a free ROM hack of Pokémon Emerald by Team Monomyth, set in the Athanto region and released on October 30, 2026. This page is a directory, not a second copy of every guide.
Official pages
- Homepage — region pitch, feature names, “over 360,” 200+ tracks.
- Download — browser patcher, .bps file, emulator allow and deny lists.
- Link trading — Celio Link’s nine steps.
- Blog FAQ — still says late fall 2026. Use the release-date page for the clock.
- Showdown and Collector’s Edition — both under construction.
Community databases
DexDB (dexdb.io/monomyth) is the structured dex, starter table, trainer list, location list, and coat census. It is a community database. I cite it for rows the official site does not publish, and I do not relabel it as Team Monomyth.
Threads and third-party guides
The r/PokemonROMhacks launch thread is the best single pile of emulator reports. PokeCoders is the one cheat-type table. pokemonmonomyth.com is a separate field guide with its own save checklist. HeldGames wrote up the 32 MB output. None of those replace the download page when the topic is the file itself.
On this site, start with how to play, the wiki, and the FAQ.
Questions
Is there an official guidebook?
Community discussions report that a full documentation set is not planned; no official statement is linked here. The site has a download page, a link page, a blog FAQ, and several “under construction” sections.
What should I trust first?
The official page when it states a procedure. DexDB when you need a species or trainer row. A single Reddit comment stays labeled as one thread.
