About the game

It is Team Monomyth’s Emerald hack, directed in the about text by thistlehare / K. Japonica, built on pokeemerald and the Emerald Expansion. Price is free. The team says they do not take donations. Platform is Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Micro, plus the emulators on the download page.

Playing it

Download the .bps from monomyth.jp/download, patch a 16,777,216-byte Emerald, and check for a 33,554,432-byte output. The download counter read 45,694 on the morning of 2 Nov 2026. That number moves.

What is inside

Expect 200+ tracks, Contest Halls, Trainer Hill, Battle Frontier, side quests, and both asynchronous play and link-cable trades. Nine leaders, then an Elite Four the database describes two ways, then Champion Stenvard. Natures do not match the old 25-name chart.
